Delegate comments on the Regulators’ Forum

“The Regulators’ Forum is an extremely effective means of keeping up to date with developments across all the various sector regulators. Without Stephen’s hugely extensive and deep analysis of key regulatory decisions, I doubt whether any of us would have the time or spare resource to do a 1/10th the analysis Stephen manages to deliver in his round up of regulatory developments. The afternoon sessions have always been very interesting, entertaining as well as informative, with external speakers prompting much reflection on our own organisations and work practices. The Q&A session and debates always means I’ve come back to the office with loads of value adding material to circulate (in addition to Stephen’s slide pack from his morning round up).”

Caspar Swales, Cross-Utility Policy and Regulation Manager, NI Utility Regulator

The Regulators’ Forum is a highly effective means to keep up to date with developments in other regulated sectors.  Stephen’s overview of recent regulatory publications is a tour de force in both its breadth of coverage and the insight he provides.  We have interesting debate and I have found the afternoon speakers to be impressive and thought-provoking.

Emily Bulman, Head of Transport Economics, ORR

“As a long standing attendee of the Regulators’ Forum, I have been impressed by Stephen’s comprehensive overview of regulatory developments across the different utility sectors. He provides an insight into and understanding of recent regulatory proposals based on his extensive experience of regulatory and competition economics which would be difficult to gain from elsewhere. The guest speakers at the Forum are also entertaining and informative. I am happy to strongly recommend the Regulators’ Forum to anyone considering joining.
